Enriched Air Nitrox - Specialty Course
The Nitrox course is one of the most popular scuba diving specialty courses, designed to give recreational divers the knowledge and skills to safely plan and conduct dives using Nitrox (up to 40% Oxygen). Diving with Nitrox offers a significant advantage – it increases your no decompression dive time, allowing you to spend more time underwater, especially on repetitive dives. This makes Nitrox an excellent choice for deep dives and frequent dive activities, like many of those in the Palm Beach area.
This course begins with digital home study, where you’ll learn at your own pace. Afterward, an academic session will follow, which includes a review, a quiz, and a presentation on how to acquire and analyze your Nitrox mix, as well as how to plan your dives accordingly. Upon completion, you’ll receive your digital certification card, enabling you to start enjoying the benefits of Nitrox immediately.
If you’re interested in experiencing the thrilling shark dives in Jupiter, Nitrox certification is a must. Many dive locations are deeper, and you’ll be doing repetitive dives, making Nitrox essential for safety and maximizing your dive time. What to expect
If you haven’t been scuba diving in a while or just feel a little rusty, this course is for you. The day starts with reviewing your dive history and checking any of your personal gear for its proper functioning. We will review hand signals, plan the dive, and then dive the plan. We will review and practice surface and underwater skills concentrating on neutral buoyancy. As the dives in the Jupiter area are usually drift dives, we will also discuss and practice drift procedures including the use of an SMB
What you will see
On this dive, we typically see beautiful marine creatures such as turtles, octopus, crabs and critters, seahorses, and an abundance of other marine life.
